Your regulator is an essential piece of life support equipment and the heart of your diving system. That is why we treat each regulator as if it is our own. We believe the only way to service a regulator is the right way. This means a complete overhaul and not just “washing its face” by changing the filter and cleaning the hoses. We work hard to ensure that we offer a quality service for your safety and peace of mind.
We have invested in the correct tools and equipment necessary to operate a modern scuba workshop dedicated to service & repairs with the objective to offer you, the customer, the best quality of service. Having the right tools is one of the first steps towards doing the job right. As well as specialist manufacturers’ tools which are only available to fully authorised service centres, we are the only service centre in Ireland to have invested in an ANSTI computerised surface breathing system to ensure that your regulators are correctly set up and performing properly.
A regulator service entails stripping down and taking apart the first and second stages into their component parts. This includes all hoses and gauges. These parts are then cleaned and degreased ultrasonically in a Biox bath. All parts are inspected for wear and defects and replaced where necessary. All O rings are replaced using directly sourced manufacturers service kits. Your regulator is then reassembled and set up using manufacturers guidelines and is tested and fine- tuned on our ANSTI Computerised test system to ensure it is operating to its optimum level. This computerised system takes the regulator on a theoretical dive to 50 metres so you can rest assured it is working properly. When serviced this way, your regulator breathes easily and feels like new.
We provide a professional and quality service and we use only recommended parts and official authorised manufacturers’ service kits. We always return your old parts to you.To guarantee our workmanship, we also give a 30 day warranty on all regulators serviced in our workshop.
